Project Purchaser

Wärtsilä Service, Global Logistics Service (GLS), is looking for a Project Purchaser within the Parts Supply function.

Position description Support the net sales increase:
- Cut down time to quote and secure on time availability especially with non-stock materials.
- Develop spare part delivery chain in order to meet customer requirements.
- Align and cooperate with Supply Teams and AREA Sales
- Work closely with involved parties and solve day-to-day business related challenges.
- Monitor and report performance.
- support in system development.

Requirements - Customer Understanding (SCM).
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Target and result oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong self management skills.
- Fluent in both written and oral business English.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- SAP knowledge in after sales business. B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration.
- Few years of experience of supply chain activity and related SAP modules.
