Position description Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
1. Execute, manage, develop and renew supplier base, performance, relationships and negotiations in close cooperation with stakeholders
• Create and update agreements with suppliers
• Secure updated supplier information in SAP to enable stakeholders’ cost budgeting and follow-up
• Lead / support / participate in negotiations
• Secure that supplier qualification procedures are followed
• Secure capacity, ensure Quality, Delivery, Lead Time, Cost development of materials and services for suppliers as well as ensure correct supplier VAT
• Perform supplier relationships management and monitor supplier performance
• Interaction and follow-up supplier performance with Supplier development function
• Secure preconditions for project purchasing, test and spot orders
2. Develop category strategy and action plans, as well as secure implementation
• Secure compliance to Supply Management processes, procedures, strategies and agreements
• Analyze future demand in cooperation with the needed functions, and communicate appropriate forecast to suppliers
• Gather and analyze spend and supplier data, execute benchmarking, provide data to the relevant functions
• Manage claims from / to suppliers / warranty issued in coordination with project purchasing and project team
• Create and develop an approved and preffered supplier list together with cross-functional involvement
3. Communicate progress and escalate issues to General Manager Procurement
• Participate in Supply Management department meetings
• Report project progress to Supply Management team
• Issue montly progress report
• Active collaboration with cross-functional colleagues to achieve optimal results
Requirements Experience in Stainless steel manufacturing and materials, inclusive sourcing and negotiation
Preferably knowledge about category management WoW
Sufficient ERP (preferably SAP) knowledge on user level
Structured and result oriented
Excellent cooperative skills
Excellent Quality knowledge
Advanced Legal knowledge
Advanced customer understanding
Advanced communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge in the areas project management,logistics, and LEAN philosophy

Advanced command of the English written and spoken language.
The right candidate has the ability to work well both independantly and in teams. Technical/commercial education (B.Sc/B.Ba or M.Sc/M.Ba) Minimum 10 years relevant experience
