|Position description||Responsible to implement and follow the chemical program for all sites under agreement, to ensure best performance and lifetime for equipment;|
Responsible to implement and follow the chemical program for all sites under agreement, to ensure best performance and lifetime for equipment;
Analyse reports and site conditions to provide best chemical treatment for engine cooling water, boiler, raw water;
Analyse and provide actions to ensure lubricating oil on best performance;
Provide training to operator when demanded for;
Be able to provide forecast of chemical additives for sites;
Monitor chemical treatment of outsourced company when asked for.
Elaborate periodical reports for each site and/or asked for;
Work actively together with Area Contract Managers/Country Contract Managers and Contract Managers in the assigned area and in assigned issues with Contract Managers in other areas;
Participate in the development of effective ways to lower maintenance costs of ship power or power plants.
Bachelor of Chemistry or Chemistry Technician;
English, fluent (reading, writing and speaking), Spanish desired;
Necessary experience with managing fluids: Lubricating oil, water treatment and steam;
Knowledge with raw and disposal water treatment;
Necessary experience with report result analysis of: lubricating oil analysis and performance tests and Fuel oil analysis and performance tests (understand and provide actions);Boilers and Steam treatment;
Desired knowledge of Oil and Gas chemical process;
Necessary availability for some trips.
