Position description Wärtsilä Dynamic Positioning, Inc. (WDP) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Field Service Coordinator position located in Poway, CA. The Field Service Coordinator will report directly to the Global Manager, Field Service Engineering.

The Field Service Coordinator will lead and manage daily service delivery activities and team(s) to provide comprehensive technical support. In addition, qualified candidates will support and develop the necessary Field Service competencies to meet market trends and Wärtsilä needs.

The Field Service Coordinator will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Estimate FS activities, in terms of hours and man/days, monitoring results and deviations.
• Conduct initial Planning and Scheduling of FS jobs/projects.
• Generate quotes for field service and spare parts.
• Maintain detailed customer support records.
• Cooperate with other FS Managers, FS Coordinators to ensure the right resource for all activities.
• Continue to improve processes and way of working related to his/her specific tasks in complete interaction with other
departments as well as Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
• Review open cases and tasks; arrange service as needed to close reported items.
• Provide support for briefing (Conducting Kick-off Meetings) and debriefing of the engineers (Conducting After Action
Reports).

• Motivation to learn and grow professionally.
• Associates of Science Degree in Marine Engineering or 8 years' experience.
• At least 5 years relevant working experience on Wärtsilä products.
• Field Service experience on Wärtsilä DP, AMS, or Navigation.
Requirements Minimum Experience and Educational Requirements:
