Position description Wärtsilä Energy Solutions is looking for Commissioning Engineer, Mechanical. We offer you interesting work with people of different cultural backgrounds and a possibility to work with a successful global team in an international company.
Responsibilities The Role:
•To perform commissioning, performance tests and handing over activities.

Duties and responsibilities:
•To ensure safe commissioning procedures are followed.
•To ensure that safe and calibrated test equipment are used.
•To perform start-up and tests of equipment within the scope of the contract.
•To follow commissioning time schedule.
•To participate the site commissioning meetings.
•To follow commissioning and performance tests procedures.
•To safeguard the compliance with HSSE policies and minimize risks during commissioning.
•To highlight the economical and cost saving working procedures.
•To resolve and document technical problems during the commissioning.
•To maintain good reporting practices.
•To maintain good customer relations and team spirit at site.
•To ensure that all test results are documented according to Wärtsilä instructions.
•To ensure safe and reliable function of the plant and equipment.
•To assist the client with commissioning procedures and testing and to ensure smooth and reliable commissioning.
•To ensure that as-built drawings are completed and communicated.
•To guide operation personnel with plant design and functionalities.
•To maintain punch list.
•To ensure that all required documents are submitted and signed by the client for taking over of the plant.
Requirements - Relevant engineering degree
- Good leadership, communication, team building and negotiation skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt new technologies
- Requires to work abroad 250-300 days annually
- Ability to adjust to a wide range of conditions and cultural environments
- Project Management knowledge is an advantage
- Good command of English, both oral and written
- Other languages are seen as an advantage

- Working experience in similar tasks preferred
