A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Support Coordinator to join the team in our Fareham office.

Position description To assist the Sales Support Manager to increase sales and provide full office back up and assistance for Account Managers.
Maximising Sales revenue from customer requests
Capture team lead for solution sales
To provide correct, up to date and accurate office back up support for Account Managers in order to ensure sales process growth and margin
To manage the Sales Support Department when the Sales Support Manager is not available
To produce accurate reports as directed by the Sales Support Manager
To produce KPI’s as directed by the Sales Support Manager

Responsibilities Main Responsibilities
Sales –
Maximise the revenue from internal sources such as from Service Bulletins, Engineers reports, Service Schedules, Dry Dock reports, AM Visit reports etc.
Support and lead, as requested, upgrades, and solution sales, maximising the sales potential while meeting the customer’s requirements, including assisting the Sales Support Manager in the analysis of the market and developing and actioning the plan as required.

To manage and produce tender responses and offers for Account Managers in conjunction with all categories using the Product Portfolio teams, Support Engineers and Spares Coordinators in a timely manner, evaluating technical, financial and environmental risks accordingly.
Organisational –
To develop good lines of communication both internally and to the Account Managers
Deputise for Sales Support Manager
Admin -
Update and actively support CRM as required and requested, and ensure that accurate documentation is recorded by all department staff.
General -
Perform other job tasks given by the Sales Support Manager.

Candidates should ideally have an engineering background and understanding of ships systems and oil and gas business environments/ drivers. There is a need to produce quotations for engine overhauls; a knowledge of diesel engines is important combined with an overview of electrical and propulsion systems.
Commercial experience of providing successful solutions and putting the customer first essential.
