|Position description||As a Team Leader you will be the manager of a group of travelling service engineers and superintendents based in Budapest/Hungary. Their job is to provide service to our customers around the globe mainly on the ships and power plants. Your job is to motivate and develop our employees so that they will and can perform on a high level in order to achieve high customer satisfaction. The character of our business needs you to have good knowledge about Hungarian labor law and health & safety regulations.|
|Responsibilities||Your main responsibilities will be to ensure that we allocate to right resources and ensure that the employees have the right competences and skill set.|
In order to be a good team leader we need you to have good leadership skills meaning high moral and ethics, a capability of showing the right directions and stand for your decisions. You need to be able to listen and be open to changes. It is important that you are able to have a constructive dialogue with your employees and constantly drive the business forward. We are looking for a person who understands Wärtsilä business and importance of our Customers. Since the Team Leaders belong to medium management, we expect them to understand and demonstrate their role as employer’s representative.
Since Hungary is a part of SUBB organization this job requires that you can work independently but also communicate and collaborate well in a matrix-organization.
Bachelor degree or higher preferably in Mechanical Engineering or similar Experience in leading teams. Preferred knowledge about systems used in Wartsila such us: SAP, COGNOS, PSM, GP.
Mandatory requirement is to understand the role of being an employer representative.
Fluent English and Hungarian is a must. Other languages, as Romanian, Finnish or other are welcome.
