Position description We are looking for an enthusiastic Market Development Manager for Energy Solutions, North East Asia Region.

Market Development Manager will develop, lead and execute the China Influencing and Market Plan to promote Smart Power Generation concept in China. The work is done in close co-operation with internal Market Development Team, local Chinese Business Development and Area Market Development resources.

As a Market Development Manager you will have wide range of stakeholders from policy makers and research institutes to key power industry companies. For successful execution of the work you need excellent communication and networking skills. Presentations at various seminars and events will be part of your job.

Location: Shanghai, China; Beijing, China
Responsibilities Your main responsibilities are to develop, lead and execute market development initiatives around the area and actively support the Regional Sales team.
You will work in close co-operation with internal and external stakeholders.
Participation and presentations in internal and external events, training's and seminars are business as usual for you.

Requirements As an ideal candidate you have suitable Bachelor/ Masters of Engineering or Economics degree.
We expect that you have a minimum of 5 years of experience of working with energy/power industry and part of it with focus on Market Development Activities.
From skills and behavior point of view the dominating qualities for this position are communication, working with wide range of people and in-detail understanding of mechanisms in the power system dynamics.
You should have the drive to make things happen and goal oriented mind-set. Understanding the business and customer(s) is essential.
For successful execution of the work you need excellent communication, presentation and networking skills. Also we expect that you are excellent negotiator with strategic view. This position requires readiness for travelling in China and globally. Cultural sensitivity and able to sens different situations is needed.
Speaking, writing and understanding English is a default for this position. Chinese language is seen as an advantage.
