Puregas Process Technicians (PT) in Denmark and Germany work mainly on their local markets. Typical tasks are commissioning, service and warranty work. They are the hands and ears of the support team in Kalmar Sweden as well as the main contact for the local clients. They also plan the work of local contractors.
Today Puregas has one Process Technician in Denmark and four plants in operation. With one under construction and two more in the 2018 sales budget there will be seven units in operation at the end of next year.
In Germany Puregas has one Process Technician covering Germany and Switzerland where we have four plants in operation and three more in the 2018 sales budget. At the end of next year there will be 6 units in operation.
To strengthen both the Danish and German aftermarket resources We need to employ an additional PT based in Denmark.
Puregas Solutions design and build biogas upgrading plants since more than 20 years and we are since October 2017 part of Wärtsilä. Biogas is produced from food waste, sewage, manure and crops and consists mainly of methane and carbon dioxide. To improve the energy content the gas can be upgraded by removing the carbon dioxide. The upgraded biogas, Biomethane, can be used as vehicle fuel, injected into the gas grid or for liquefaction (LBG).
