External HR Specialist, Recruitment

Wärtsilä Italia Human Resources is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Specialist, Resourcing who is digital innovative and committed to support Marine Solutions and Services Departments in the recruitment process, implementing effective resourcing action plans.

Location will be Trieste, Italy.

Position description In this position you will work closely with hiring managers, focusing especially on the operational support of our recruitment process, covering both internal and external recruitments. We hope you have a good grasp on the applicant markets and are effective in utilizing search and sourcing tools to reach the right audience, including maintaining a professional network of qualified candidates in anticipation for future hiring.
Responsibilities The responsibilities of the position include providing internal customers with high quality service full life-cycle recruiting, with particular attention on:
o Collaborate with Hiring Managers to develop successful position description and candidate profiles as well to understand overall needs and requirements such as salary package, timing, expectations, etc;
o Screens resumes and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing;
o Uses traditional and non-traditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates; post jobs on CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
o Follow-up with all candidates contacted in recruiting cycle;
o Develop and manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates;
o Provides information on the Company and job opportunities to potential candidates;
o Completes reference and background checks, also coordinating assessment and language tests;
o In collaboration with WIT Communication Department develops and maintains professional relationships with technical high schools, university, as a source to generate qualified applicants.
o Analyses and prepares hiring and turnover statistics.
o Manages current Wärtsilä Internal Tool with particular attention to Data Quality;
o Coordinates exit discussion with resigning employees;
Requirements o Good understanding of organizational policies, procedures and labour laws;
o Flexible and dynamic person, being able to work in a continuous changing environment on a multitasking role;
o Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills that highlights clear direction with history of internal networking of programs & field information;
o Ability to work effectively under pressure in a time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines;
o Very good communication and interpersonal skills;
o Italian mother tongue and excellent English speaking and writing;
o Ability to work independently on projects, as team lead, and as a member of a team;
o Ability to listen to hiring managers and clearly understand their recruiting needs and job specifications;
o Good computer skills and fluency with Microsoft 365 programs.

University Degree in preference in Economics or Law or similar field is required; Master in Human Resources is an advantage.

Significant experience in recruiting and/or human resources experience with a track record of successful staffing experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
