Wartsila Canada is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator with a high affinity of HR dimensions and systems.
Language requirements (written and spoken): English and French required, Spanish an asset.
Working place: Vancouver.
Overall operational management of all administrative HR issues in entry and exit of employees.
Advise employees and line managers regarding general HR policies, procedures, labour law and HR systems technical issues.
Assist with the yearly HR Budgeting process including; wages and salaries
Participation in Training & Development issues
Support and administration of the MY Voice Program
Support integration of Company acquisitions
Assist with personnel recruitment and recruitment strategies
Create, maintain & control personnel files for all Canadian personnel
Maintain a WESAP HR database for all employees
Ensure local & Federal employment laws are met in each regional department in Canada
To ensure all of Wärtsilä Canada is working on similar, integrated systems
To assist the Management with hiring and terminations of employees as required
To ensure the WCA employees are informed of the health & safety requirements of the respective regions & works with the Management in ensuring requirements are met
Ensure that annual bonus & salary programs are completed by Management in a timely manner
Prepare & maintain knowledge of regional salary requirements & benefit levels within the regions of Canada
Stay abreast of Employment Standard Acts within all Canadian Jurisdictions.
|Requirements||Business Degree with HR component and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of relevant and progressive experience in Human Resources.|
