Wärtsilä Services Project Management provide Marine and Power Plant customers with life cycle support services related to fuel conversions, modernizations, upgrades and new equipment. Position description Wärtsilä Services Environmental Retrofit Projects is seeking for a target-driven, energetic Project Manager to be responsible for customer delivery projects. The position will be integral part of Project Centre Finland team and is one of the key player to deliver growing numbers of environmental retrofit projects, Exhaust Gas Cleaning, Ballast Water Management and Particle reduction catalysts for Marine sector.

Project Manager will be part of an experienced project team to execute demanding projects in a challenging environment. This job will give a large experience for international business and aspects to develop oneself for the future career.

Position is located in Finland; Turku, Helsinki or Vaasa.
Responsibilities Project Manager has a total responsibility of one or several projects within the Project Centre Finland and to lead and to coach the project team. Project Manager will be the first point of contact for the customer, after project transfer from the Sales department.

- Creation, development and definition of project plan with the budgeted costs, schedule and customer needs in focus
- Demonstrating that project teams’ performance is in compliance with Wärtsilä Project Management Methodology and Business Directives
- Monitor, control and report quality, delivery time, cost and scope in the projects
- Maintaining and improving the customer relationship.
Requirements - B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architect
- Experience in project management
- Skills in cost effectiveness
- Negotiation and presentation skills
- Problem solving and decision making skills under time pressure
- Strong personal drive, being pro-active and goal-focused
- Willingness to actively develop own and others skills within the project management knowledge areas as well as the system integration area
- SAP and MS Project working experience is an advantage
- PMP certificate is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Other language skills are seen as an advantage.
