Position description For our Purchasing Team within Parts Services we are looking for an Operative Purchaser in Winterthur / Switzerland.
Responsibilities - Execute purchase orders, order monitoring and expediting, confirmations and rescheduling
- Place RFQs at suppliers
- Review and verify technical specifications as basis for material planning or request for quotations in cooperation with engineering organization
- Proactively work to enable cross-divisional, cross-organizational and supplier cooperation
- Negotiate and execute spot buys and propose contract changes to strategic purchasing
- Maintain purchasing related master data
Requirements - Technical or commercial apprenticeship
- Preferred Experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management
- Communication skills
- Good skills in German & English
- Team work skills
- Services Mentality
- SAP R/3 skills preferred
