1 Position: Field Service Automation Engineer
Reporting to:

Position description -Independently execute Field Service activities mainly on electrical and electronic components
-Perform Electrical maintenance and/or trouble shooting on Wartsila Electrical and Automation products or similar Electrical and Automation applications
-Troubleshoot and repair computers and networks
-Prepare detailed Service reports and travel expenses on time and with expected Wartsila quality
-Identify failures, making adjustments, assist on trial runs and testing of Electrical installations according to instructions
-Promote Wartsila Products and Services
-Extensive travel worldwide
Requirements Control systems engineering, electrical & automation
-Knowledge of Siemens Step 7, Wago, Allen Bradley and various Schneider PLC’s are seen as advantage
-Knowledge of Network IPs, ring switches and routers
-Knowledge of PLC Networks Can Bus, Mod Bus, and Profibus
-Basic computer repair skills, work with images, replace HDD, Power supplies
-Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
-In addition, knowledge of Wartsila UNIC / WECS / WIOS, WIAS seen as an advantage

Engine/systems knowledge
-Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
-Understanding of mechanical and fluid processes. In addition, Wartsila diesel engine types and their auxiliaries or similar applications are seen as an advantage
-Perform electrical and automation maintenance and/or trouble shooting on Wartsila products or similar applications
-Perform pre-commissioning of Wartsila installations or similar applications
-Wartsila specific UNIC / WECS systems knowledge seen as an advantage

Technical analysis
-Knowledge of electronics, programming and process control
-Ability to analyze and solve product related electrical problems.
-Ability to carry out relevant measurements.

BS degree or equivalent or a combination of education and work experience
-Technical / Vocational school, preferably Electrical / Electronics / Computer programming and PLC or a combination of education and work experience
Electrical engineer on Power generation or similar products
