Service Contract Manager

Service unit Norway is looking for a proactive, customer oriented Service Contract Manager with a strong can-do attitude. This role is responsible for the execution of a long-term service agreement, according to the contractual obligations agreed with the customer and Wärtsilä. The Service Contract Manager will report to the Country Contract Manager, and be a part of the Service Unit in Norway.

Preferred location is Oslo. Rubbestadneset could be possible as well.

Position description
Responsibilities The Service Contract Manager should be able to:
Lead and manage contract management activities and/or assigned team.
Execute assigned contracts accordance with Wärtsilä Services procedures, the contract management process, and general management practices, in a safe and cost effective way.
Implement contract management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.
Follow-up Customer satisfaction and ensure that agreed actions are taken in the area or in the assigned responsibility area.
Plan, budget and manage result of the work within the scope of the contract.
Optimize assets such as inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc. tied to the contract.
Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Ensure quality of work related to the contract execution.
Follow up financial, operative and technical performance, through reviews and reporting and take corrective actions.
Requirements Solid experience from customer relationship management, professional networking, and account management activities, as well as good understanding of the service concept within Wärtsilä, will help the contract manager to succeed in this position. A broad network within the company, and in the industry, will enhance a good co-operation, as this vacancy is a key position for good customer support.

Education:
B.sc, M.sc in engineering or economical functions. Extensive experience could compensate for lack of degree in the applicable field.

Experience:
Service and aftermarket related activities.
Sales and account management understanding.
Project management.
Solid know-how of budgets and cost follow-up.
Experience with working internationally with global stake holders (international mindset)
Good command in English and Norwegian (or Scandinavian language), other languages are seen as a benefit.
Presentation skills
Able to work with data programs and databases such as Excel, CRM, QlickView, SAP, PowerPoint
