Wartsila Gas Solutions offers systems and solutions related a number of oil & gas segments. The scope includes marine LNG and LPG cargo systems, fuel gas systems for marine vessels, onshore gas terminals, biogas systems, flare gas ignition and tank control systems to mention some.

Position description Due to ongoing and incoming projects in our organisation, we are searching for additional staff in our Quality / Warranty Section within Company Management Services in Asker.

Responsibilities - Correct and professional handling of warranty cases towards customers and suppliers with both commercial, technical and contractual aspects to ensure satisfied customers
- Logging, follow up, closing and trending incoming warranty cases
- Co-operation with other units in the organisation as required to solve warranty cases and to learn from them
- Technical follow-up with relevant Project organisation
- Technical follow-up of suppliers
- Communication with vessel / plant crew and customers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the warranty section

Requirements - Higher technical education, preferably bachelor- or master degree in mechanical engineering
- Good English language skills, both verbally and in writing
- Some years of experience with similar work is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement
- Marine operational experience an advantage
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
- Electrical, Instrument, Automation and/or Process Control competence is an advantage
