|Position description||The remote support advisor supports contract customers. The advisor provides technical advice using contract center remote support tools like Condition Based Monitoring, trend analysis and remote access tools. The remote support advisor gathers information and trends on the operation and fuel consumption of the Wartsila equipment and logs its finding. The advisor works together with the internal stakeholders like the operational experts, maintenance planners and technical services. The advisor helps to implement Dynamic Maintenance Planning (DMP) for the relevant contracts.|
Answers and logs remote support requests for unscheduled maintenance events.
Gathers information as much as possible on the unscheduled maintenance event and provide technical advice if possible.
If the unscheduled event cannot be resolved. Forwards the request to technical services and/ or arrange for and onsite support visit.
Actively informs the internal stakeholders like contract manager, maintenance planner, contract coordinator and technical services informed of any communication that is relevant to them.
Helps further develop the Dynamic Maintenance Planning (DMP) concept for the relevant contracts.
Assists in the development of tools related to remote support.
Strong technical knowledge in engine and auxiliary systems.
Strong knowledge in operations and maintenance.
Excellent communication skills
Good understanding of equipment monitoring, parameter trending and analysis B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Extensive previous experience with engine operations
