Maintenance Planner

Position description Plan the scheduled overhauls for the assigned fleet. Planning includes, parts, labor workshop work, required cylinder heads and turbo charger overhauls. Goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach the set contractual quality, financial and time targets. Manage assigned maintenance responsibilities in accordance with Wärtsilä Services guidelines, the Contract Management process and general management practices in a safe and cost effective way in order to exceed the customer expectations. Implementing preventive and corrective action as necessary. Optimize maintenance reliability and availability of the vessels within the scope of the agreement. Prepares vessel maintenance plans and monthly reports. Communicates with customer on own responsibility area.

Ensure smooth process for efficient overhauls for assigned components Input to quarterly vessel maintenance plans

Ensure full visibility of assigned components condition in maintenance management tools and track of location

Customer communication within own responsibility area

Coordination with workshops globally for ensuring smooth overhauls

Ensure that assigned components are timely delivered to the vessels for maintenance activities

To communicate effectively with the team related to the condition of the assigned components and provide suggestions for improvements.
Requirements Operations & Maintenance knowledge
Good team and communication skills
Good understanding of costs and business processes
Fluent both written and spoken in English Preferably: B.Sc or M.Sc in Business or Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Preferably engine mechanical experience
Preferably experience with maintenance Management Systems
