Position description Wärtsilä Energy Solutions is looking for a Chief Project Engineer to the Nuclear Quality and Qualification organization. The location of this position is Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities In this role, you will:
- Plan, implement and control project qualification (seismic, environmental & ageing, type testing) management activities
- Manage qualification schedule and related qualification resources needs
- Ensure necessary qualification procedures are developed and maintained to fulfil internal and external requirements and improve cost efficiency
- Manage relationships and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders in assigned responsibility area
- Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks in own responsibility area
- Provide lessons learned initiatives for development in own responsibility area
- Implement safety classification for project delivery.

Requirements - M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Process Engineering)
- At least 3-5 years working experience
- Experience in coordinating engineering tasks
- Experience and ability to work in a global environment
- Project management skills
- Solid leadership skills and experience in leading teams
- Good understanding of power plant business and nuclear business
- Skilled in problem solving and root cause analysis, attention to detail
- Good organizational skills, self-going
- Experience of customer nuclear product technical requirements and nuclear qualification standards (IEEE, IEC) & processes is seen as a benefit
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent in English and very good command of Finnish
- Customer value understanding
- Willingness to travel.
