The Business Productivity Services unit is responsible for defining and delivering IT services in various domains like data analytics, master data management, finance and logistics to mention few. The teams manage solutions and applications’ lifecycle management through defined IT services.

Position description We are looking for a Manager to provide leadership and management for the Solution Management team. The selected person will be responsible for the teams’ performance and continuous development to fulfil the cross-knowhow of the SAP modules and other technologies related to the ERP services. The responsibilities include ensuring adequate resourcing of developments and projects and participating to the actual development work on own areas of knowhow and acting as leading development authority in the own team’s responsibility areas. The work involves strong cooperation with other IM instances, the Service Management, Solution Architecture and Concept and Release Management to ensure strong virtual teamwork within the unit.
Responsibilities - Line management of the team of developers, Solution Managers and Experts
- Leading and developing solution design and development principles for the ERP solutions in a way that aims at and supports operational efficiency and cost effectiveness, complying with IT processes
- Participating and/or supporting solution design in assigned projects or enhancements along with own team on SAP area
- Coordinating with vendors, partners and other IM teams to ensure that solutions are developed and delivered in a cost efficient and qualitative manner
- Planning competence development and ensuring competence gaps are bridged
- Developing own team to meet future requirements of ERP Platform development considering digital transformation and new SaaS and PaaS solutions
- Ensuring the internal and external workforce are on adequate level
- Co-operating with Service management, Concept and Release management as well as Architecture teams enforcing the virtual teamwork
- Ensuring the business and IT are in alignment in own responsibility area
Requirements - Education: M.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering
- Experience of working in an team lead position or willingness to learn
- Understanding of business processes, especially on finance and logistics areas
- Good experience of SAP, especially of finance and controlling area
- Very good understanding of or general interest to other technologies in addition to SAP
- Very good documentation and presentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in virtual team environment and make things happen
- Customer oriented and able to effectively market IM solutions to businesses
- Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
- Knowledge of ITIL based processes
- Proactive, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work
- Fluent written and spoken English

Possible locations for this position are our IM locations in Finland (Helsinki/Vaasa/Turku), India (Mumbai) or Germany (Hamburg).
