Wärtsilä IM Develops and manages leading ICT services globally in Wärtsilä with respect of differences in businesses to ensure Wärtsilä gets strategic value from use of technology and information.

Wärtsilä IM is looking for a Solution Manager to manage a set of solutions aligned to Health and Safety Service based in Navi Mumbai office. This is an Individual contributor role with core responsibility of engaging with business stakeholders for requirement analysis, manage solution development and design, Technical roadmap development, operational delivery in respective Solutions. Beside these, this role will also be responsible for managing these deliverables using standard Wärtsilä best practices in technology, process and other methodologies.

Responsibilities Responsibilites:
1.Define Solution level service description and operations delivery model as per department guidelines and process.
2.Participate, support, consult and deliver in operational Enhancements and OD projects as per assigned responsibilities.
3.Changes and enhancements - Requirement analysis, scope definition and prioritization, evalution of solution design options and approving the best fit design, Solution validation, provide relevant training to key users.
4.Release planning and execution for changes. Communicate with and inform relevant stakeholders concerning changes.
5.Manage Infrastructure components, and review Architecture and security compliance.
6.Co-creates Service continuity and availability management plan for the solution along with service manager.
7.Develop Technical Roadmap and operational budgeting.
8.Manage and control Operational support process definition, delivery as per agreed SLA/OLA.
9.Identify and Implement solution level service Improvement.
10.Participate in Service Delivery meetings, Development forums.
11.Create and maintain documents – Architecure, Technical, Functional, Operations and Admin Guide.
Requirements Technical/Functional skills:
1.Good understanding of Web 2.0 Technologies, Cloud Platforms, Mobile Platforms.
2.ASP.NET , C# or Java, XML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS
3.Good hands on knowledge of database query and design in SQL Server, Oracle
4.Good understanding of industry patterns for application architecture, design and integration.
5.Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies, ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture, relational databases.
6.Good understanding of the application development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment.

Education & Experience: BE/B.Tech/MCA/Post Graduations in Computer Science or other relevant information/computer technology field from recognized institute/University 1.Minimum 7 years of IT experience of which at least 3 years of experience in managing lifecycle of multiple applications for global organizations using standard ITIL practices, tools and techniques..
2.Experience of working and engaging with Global team with wide range of stakeholders, including senior staff and external organizations.
