To our office in Gothenburg we are now looking for a Sales and project manager focused on the Pulp and Papers business in Scandinavia. This is an interesting role when you like intense contact with customers in both the sales as well in the project execution phase.
Valmet in Gothenburg engineers, produces and delivers Recovery and Power boilers and Evaporation plants for the Pulp and Paper industry and environmentally friendly Power and Heat boilers for technically demanding fuels.
As Sales and Project manager you develop projects together with our customers by establishing and developing good relationships as well as being the contact person for assigned customers (Key Account Manager). Together with our customers, you realize and optimize their requirements and needs in operation, maintenance and safety and create and develop them into a Valmet solution. For our smaller projects, you will also be responsible for the project execution leading the project team.
The role is focused on Scandinavia where Valmet has a large customer base and the main task will be sales of upgrades and maintenance of boilers and adjacent equipment.
The position as Sales Manager requires a technical expertise, therefore we see that you have a solid education in mechanical engineering, process engineering or similar area. Strong experience from successful Sales or Project management within the Heat- and Power generation is also a requirement for this position.
As a person, you are passionate to deliver the best results. You are solution-oriented, have a strategic perspective and good planning skills. Furthermore, you have experience of negotiations.
With your good communication and interpersonal skills, you build and keep up good relationships with both external and internal clients. Good command of both Swedish and English language is essential in this position.
You have the ability to work long-term and strategically, and to be a resource for our customers in terms of new ideas, products and services. Negotiation and contract knowledge is a natural part of the job, as well as travelling.
