The main duty of the position is the continuous improvement of China Operations including strategy implementation, management system practices, quality assurance and control, HSE management, SQM management, Investment management and Lean operations.
Participate in China Operations strategy development / main action plan, KPI and follow up
Continuous development of China Operations Way to Operate in order to improve the competitiveness
Ensure strategic and operative targets are communicated and forwarded to teams and individuals.
Establish, maintain and optimize the management system and task flow to ensure high quality and smooth operation among whole China operations.
Support management with developing comprehensive operation strategy, KPI indicators, operation key initiatives, and ensure alignment with stakeholders
Conduct regular review key performance indicator of Quality & HSE of each site , drive key initiatives for continuous improvement to achieve target of China quality cost saving, operation safety, and meet customers’ expectation
Supervise quality system procedures effective execution, optimize and develop process which can serve to enhance goals of whole organization
Supervise SQM system implement in the whole organization
Be response for the investment projects in the organization including but not limited to Planning, implementing with the budget and OTD,
Lead audit activities and maintain QHSE system/certificates of ISO9001,14001 and 18001
Monitor customer feedback system, drive quick response/solution to customer complaint.
General Management System implement cross the China Country.
Lead LSS daily activities, develop Lean manufacturing, structured problem solving (six sigma) skill, and standardization of practice crossing the China Country.
Manage and review performance of QHSE team and define QHSE team training program, improve capability of professional skill and collaboration skill.
Any other task assigned by the supervisors.
Understands and strictly follows Company’s Rules, Regulations, Policies, Instructions and Procedure to avoid unnecessary conflicts and to reach expected behavior and job performance.
Understand well of local relevant quality system.（ Please specify the quality system name such as ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 in JRPC.）
Arranges and/or delivers proper training or coaching for subordinates to ensure they have the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to do their jobs.
Defines and/or explains clear work procedure and instructions for subordinates and also supervises subordinates closely to ensure their strict following.
Sets and explains clear competency and performance standards to subordinates and evaluates subordinates based on actual performance and also provides constructive feedback when necessary (e.g. when certain task is rated as Improvement needed or Unsatisfactory.)
Bachelor degree or above in related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years in managerial role
Must be able to work independently and effectively with people at all levels.
Communication skills consistent with need to direct, develop and motivate others
Strong team and people management skill
Strong influencing on the team and the organization
Deep knowledge of Quality, HSE and Lean
Fluent Chinese and English. Must be able to effectively communicate ideas, goals and a variety of other technical and business information orally and in writing to management and other employees.
