Job description: The solutions of Valmet's Automation business line are designed to maximize the profitability of our customers' businesses by improving production performance and cost, energy and material efficiency. Our worldwide network of experts supports our extensive range of process automation solutions and services. We serve our customers in the process industries, power generation, marine, and oil & gas, pulp&paper.

The Hardware & System Project Engineer is responsible for the hardware (HW) and system design for DCS project deliveries ensuring timeliness, cost efficiency and meeting our customer expectations. On this position, you will work with our customers from Energy, Process and Marine businesses. You will play an important role in our global engineering organization and your location will be Gliwice.
Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in automation, electrical engineering (or similar) is considered as perfect background
Knowledge and experience with automation control systems (DCS / PLC)
Design skills in AutoCAD, ePLAN or similar platforms are considered as strong benefit
Microsoft Office skills (very good Excel skills, Visual Basic macros)
Knowledge of ATEX directive requirements is considered as strength
Very good English (both written and oral) is mandatory
Other languages skills are considered as an additional benefit
SEP certificates (up to 1kV)
Driving license (at least B category)
Willingness to business travels (up to 10% of working time)
Strong problem solving and organizational skills
Strong sense of ethics and responsibility
Excellent commitment
