Job description: Are you the project management professional who could take the Site Manager responsibilities around our global customer sites? Do you enjoy working with people and drive results in good collaboration with others? If yes, we are currently looking for a new Site Manager for Valmet´s Site Operations to be located in Järvenpää, Jyväskylä or Raisio.

As a Site Manager You would be a part of the Site Operations team in Project Operations. Responsibilities for Site Operations as a function are sales support, resource planning and site execution at customer sites together with other Valmet functions.

Your main task would be to be responsible for site execution at the customer site together with Valmet specialists and installation subcontractors, so that the schedule and budget targets are achieved. You will be Valmet’s main contact to the customer and in charge of the Valmet site organization.

Your tasks during the site planning phase are participating in project scheduling, site execution planning and cost estimation. Project planning also includes participating in customer meetings and in installation purchasing from subcontractors.
Requirements: You have a suitable technical education, e.g. bachelor’s degree in engineering, and experience in similar tasks, preferably 5 years or more. You are a team player who can easily adapt to different cultures and working environments.

You are fluent in English. Knowledge in German is seen as an advantage. You are familiar with MS Office tools. MS Project is an essential skill to have or to develop.

In addition, you need to be able to do global travelling to our customer sites.
