Training Specialist (temporary 12-18 months)

Job description: Are you a Training professional with excellent team work skills and service mindset?

Valmet provides maintenance services for pulp, paper and board mills around the globe. We continue to develop our business globally through competence development in Field Services and Daily Maintenance. Therefore, we are looking for a Training professional willing to join our team and commit to an assignment for a period of 12 to 18 months.

As a Training Specialist your main responsibilities will be
- Coordinating Field Service trainings globally according to a newly created Certificate Program concept, and
- Supporting the creation of certificate based training concept for Daily Maintenance

In this position, you will have a hands on role in coordinating training design and delivery as well as in continuous improvement of the training modules. You will be developing training materials and tools, managing training resources and evaluating the effectiveness of both Field Service and Daily maintenance training programs.

As part of your duties you will also be facilitating maintenance best practices sharing through TeamSpace and Valmet learning library and by coordinating virtual and face to face meetings.

You will be reporting to Director, Field Services and working in close cooperation with Field Service and Mill Maintenance teams, external training organizations and Valmet Learning Services.

Requirements: Ideally you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. either in Engineering with strong training experience OR a degree in Adult Education / Training with experience in similar position in process industry or industrial services. Fluent technical English and 3+ year of experience in training is expected.

This is a role with global impact and will include domestic and global traveling for approximately 40-60 days a year.
