Reliability Manager, Mill Maintenance

Job description: Are you a maintenance professional with an excellent team work skills and service mindset?

Valmet provides maintenance services for pulp, paper and board mills around the globe. Our customized solutions help our customers in the planning and optimization of maintenance operations in improving machine runnability as well as maximizing profitability and production efficiency.

Valmet continues to develop its business in Finland looking for a development oriented maintenance professional willing to join our maintenance team in Kauttua.

As a Reliability Manager, you are responsible of reliability and development of maintenance operations, especially in automation, electrical and instrumentation systems at the mill including both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. You will also be developing maintenance processes towards full TPM and optimization of preventive maintenance planning.

By system development, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem solving you will be supporting reliable production and developing cost controlling, production methods and reporting. Leading trouble shooting activities and follow-up of equipment lifecycle are also important part of this role. In addition, you will responsible organizing maintenance related trainings.

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in automation or electrical engineering
- Several years of experience in working in maintenance, preferably in mill environment and/or process industry
- Understanding customer’s processes, targets and challenges
- Outstanding leadership skills, excellent managerial and facilitation skills
- Focused and solution-oriented way of working, strong personal drive and sense of accountability
- Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English
