ProCenter is a vital part of the AUT Services organization. It provides top specialist level technical support, mostly for the local Service and project teams all over the world and even on-site of the customer’s premises when needed. ProCenter works also as a link between the R&D and operative units in technical issues. ProCenter is mainly located in Tampere, but not limited to one location.
We are now seeking an experienced DNA Information Management professional to become a new top level expert in our team.
Essential part of the job is to provide technical support to project and service teams and also to end customers together with a local Service. The support is mostly given as remote support (includes support applications, emails, phone, remote connections etc.). Occasionally there are cases where on-site support needed, often with a short notice and high urgency.
Other key tasks include creating technical instructions and FAQs to frequent trouble-shooting issues. Internal and customer training may be part of the job on needs basis every now and then in cooperation with the training team.
Location is negotiable in Finland (Tampere preferred).
You have expert knowledge on DNA Information systems (DNA Historian, DNA/IA, DNA CR Info Services etc.). An expertise on other areas, like system engineering or networks, is a huge plus, especially experience in virtual systems is very much appreciated. You also posses proven troubleshooting skills and hopefully some experience on customer service.
As you work in close cooperation with the customers, regional service teams, ProCenter and other teams, good networking and interaction skills are necessary. Sharing information and reporting on-site support cases is part of the job, so capability to create technical documents and sufficient written and spoken English skills are needed.
You need to be able to work without constant guidance. This job is very independent and self guided, even though you can rely on the very helpful and professional team you will be working with. Sometimes work can be somewhat hectic so you need to be able to work under a pressure.
This position requires occasional travelling globally, sometimes with a short notice. It may also require on-call duty at times in some special cases.
This is a versatile position, offering a chance to work as a top expert in a very good team and in contact with Automation’s global engineering and service teams, not to forget the vast customer base. You will have a chance to use your skills to the maximum and continuously learn more. Possibilities to diversify your role are vast within AUT product and service portfolio. You will also have an opportunity to influence product improvements and development through the feedback and observations that you are able to gather.
