Job description: Project Related Activities

Large and medium size projects order and project maintenance
Handling of NA Service functions as well as local accounting
Monthly percentage of completion and 100% revenue recognition entries
Preparing and reviewing financial information with business managers on a monthly basis
Business partnering – providing accounting & financial system support to other departments
Budgeting & forecasting activities for large and medium size projects
Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports

Financial Related Activities:
General ledger activities; ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information, including:
Monthly review of all general ledger accounts to determine accuracy of the transactions according to IFRS and company policy
Control over fixed assets, including capitalization of new assets and disposal of old assets
Overhead, warranty, estimated cost to come, obsolescence & inventory analysis and reconciliation
Participating in external and internal audits
Participation in corporate initiatives to support business and statutory requirements including the development & maintenance of compliance programs
Will have multiple location responsibility


Assist CAP BL with financial requests.
Participate in LMT for SER and CAP.
Some travel will be required to the US
Standardizing activities and developing best practices

Requirements: Requirements:

University degree in Business/Accounting, with advanced degree or professional accounting designation
Fully bilingual, French and English written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge ERP systems (BAAN would be an Asset) and has a vast understanding of the various Accounting Cycle (revenue, procurement…etc)
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, (Advance knowledge of Excel preferred).
Project and Cost accounting knowledge; minimum experience 5 years
Strong interpersonal skills.
Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
Experience working in an International and matrix environment is preferred.
Be self-directed and motivated.
Take initiative to identify and anticipate customer needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities
Possess a valid passport and can travel in the US
