Product Engineer, Mill Wide NCG Solutions (Temporary)

Job description: We invite you to join our dynamic Mill Wide NCG Solutions organization with exceptionally warm team spirit. We are looking for a Product Engineer with a great hands-on attitude and creative mindset to bring diversity to our team. Mill Wide NCG Solutions is a front runner in serving our customers globally and we are preferred supplier with our wide product portfolio.

As Product Engineer, you are a process and product expert and you work as a member of international sales and project teams. You work closely with our customers and Valmet’s strong technology organizations. You work with products related to pulp mill odorous emission control and mill chemical balance optimization.

The key tasks and responsibilities for this role include

- develop process concepts based on customer needs
- process engineering and dimensioning in sales and delivery projects
- meetings and technical negotiations with customer and subcontractors
- preparation of technical proposals and technical documents during projects
- participation in operator training, commissioning and start-ups
Requirements: To be successful in this position you have Master’s or Bachelor’s degree on engineering or in chemistry. You preferably have knowledge on pulp mill processes and over two years’ technical experience in a similar position within the industry.

We appreciate a result oriented, customer focused team player with good interpersonal skills. You are willing to work closely with our customers and are able to provide technical recommendations to our key customers. You can consider larger entities but on the other hand you are also capable on very accurate calculation work. You know how to plan and prioritize your own work and you have systematic way of working. You can deliver results in project environment with tight schedules. In this position you are requested to travel regularly. You have fluent English skills, both spoken and written, other languages are seen as an advantage
