Job description: We are looking for a new head of MIL Operations in Finland.

As the head of MIL Operations Finland, you are driving the Mill Improvements business in Finland to ensure long term growth, profitability and competitiveness. Your primary responsibilities are to secure competitive offering, cost efficiency, high customer satisfaction and internal capability development in your own responsibility area.

Mill Improvements Finland organization sells and is responsible for sales support and delivery processes in more than 2000 OEM maintenance service projects, about 250 improvement projects, more than 100 machine analysis projects and several long-term performance improvement agreement and maintenance development projects annually in pulp and paper industry. The projects are executed globally in close co-operation with area organizations, services business line and capital organizations.

As a leader of MIL Operations, you will demonstrate excellent team management skills and the ability to develop people to allow them to grow in their careers. You need to be great communicator and passionate change manager. You will coach your organization through changes and support achievement of business goals and strategy. You actively contribute to the development of the culture and leadership of the business area. You will lead MIL operations organization which consists of 6 teams including a total of around 70 people.

Knowing what makes a business financially successful is important and the ability to define and deliver to contract specifications is essential.

You will report to the head of region Finland Service Operations and you will be located in Järvenpää, Jyväskylä, Pori, Raisio or Tampere. You will also be a member of Finland Service Operations management team.

Requirements: We need a person who can see new ways to do things and make the changes happen. You should have Master's or Bachelor's degree from a relevant field of studies and have preferably at least ten years of work experience within a general management role. Because we work in a global matrix company you should have demonstrated success from a similar environment and be a strong communicator (written and verbal) not only in Finnish but also in English. You are a strong decision maker, passionate leader and a quick establisher of credibility. You develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Ability to manage extensive set of tasks simultaneously and knowledge of project/service business and processes are a must. You have knowledge of contract based service business and financial acumen for decision making and management purposes.
