Planning Engineer/Scheduler

Job description: We are looking for Planning Engineer/Scheduler to our Pulp Drying Technology Unit located in Ulvila.

The Pulp Drying Department develops, sells and delivers equipment to pulp mills around the world. The variety of projects is big, starting from deliveries of new plants to rebuilds of existing lines and scope of Valmet starting from delivery of complete drying lines on a turnkey basis to delivery of single equipment.

As Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for scheduling whole execution phase of a delivery project as well as resource planning together with different disciplines participating in the project. Reporting about progress of works is also part of your work.

Your role in projects starts in most cases already in sales phase and continues to final acceptance. You will be working together with the Pulp Drying Department's project execution, engineering, procurement, logistics and site supervision teams.
Requirements: You have the appropriate technical education as well as experience in scheduling and planning during execution phase of industrial investment projects.

By character you are active and cooperative. You can make a good general view about total project schedule including many different players as well as identify risks in schedule ahead of time.

In your work you can use common IT software (MS Project, MS Office, MS Outlook).

You communicate fluently in English both in spoken and in writing.
