Performance Services provides high level expert services to optimize our customer’s mill performance in terms of production, quality, cost and environmental impact.
As an Application Specialist, you will perform complex multidimensional performance analysis of client’s processes to identify potential improvements, troubleshoot and correct performance problems. You will develop and maintain customer performance improvement roadmap as well as develop advanced control and optimization solutions. You will work as a lead engineer and provide technical expert support to project and service personnel in the design of advanced control strategies, technology implementation, commissioning and maintenance of advanced process control and real time optimization solutions.
We are looking for a person, who has strong knowledge in control engineering, process modeling and optimization. Strong process background from pulp and paper industry (like paper machines, stock preparation and mechanical pulping) would be preferred. You can be a rising talent or senior specialists, meaning at least 5 years’ experience in the field.
B.Sc or M.Sc. Degree in Chemical, Electrical (EET or EE) or Control Engineering is a really good educational background for you. In addition, we value if you have some experience in process performance analysis, troubleshooting and optimization; Plant process operations, engineering and maintenance. Process modeling and data-analysis are topics that you feel comfortable.
In global organization, you need to have fluent written and spoken English and Finnish, other languages are a plus.

You are used to collaborate with different kind of people and you can keep your customer service mindset also in challenging situations.
