Financial Accountant

Job description: Professional accounting is a key asset for a successful global corporation. Main job duties and responsibilities in the positions will be:

Recording all management book-keeping, supplier invoices, bank transactions in the accounting system on a daily basis,
Issuing invoices
Processing payables and payments, staff expenses
Processing closing activities
Responsible for statutory e-books.
Responsible for all tax obligations including preparation, verification and submission of tax declarations(Withholding Tax, VAT, Stamp Tax, Corporation Advance Tax, Corporate Income Tax, BA/BS Declarations)
Have good command of the related BS and PL accounts, monthly analysis and balance reconciliation of these accounts among each other.
Assure compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws
Preparing monthly payroll
Maintain Intragroup Reconciliation among subsidiaries.
Carry out periodic reconciliations with suppliers and customers, overdue&payment folllow up

Requirements: To be successful in the position you need:

University degree in Economics, Business Administration or Finance
At least 5 years of experience in general accounting in a multinational or in a outsourcing company
Good understanding of Uniform Chart of accounts, Turkish Tax knowledge and IFRS
Good command of written and spoken English
Strong analytical, problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline oriented environment
Proficiency in MS Office Programs (especially Excel)
CPA (Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavir) qualification is preferable
Familiarity and experience with ERP program modules, Logo&Tiger is preferable
Payroll knowledge
Completed Military Service for Male candidates
