Valmet engineers, produces and delivers services and products to Recovery and Power boilers and Evaporation plants for the Pulp and Paper industry as well as environmentally friendly Power and Heat boilers for technically demanding fuels.

To our office in Gothenburg or Tampere we are looking for a Global Sales Manager for our ENE product offerings. Our products are delivered to the Pulp, Paper and Energy business globally through our area organizations.

As a Global Sales Manager, you will be developing customer solutions defined by a technical specification and a cost estimation together with experts from our local organizations in Gothenburg and Tampere. You will also give support to the local area organization (outside of EMEA) during the sales phase as well as under the execution phase. Our service solutions are focusing on power boilers, recovery boilers, ash leach plants and evaporators targeting lower emissions, improved availability, increased capacity and enhanced safety.

You will have a global responsibility meaning that you will have lots of contacts with Valmet’s local area organization. The work sometimes also involves direct contacts with our end customers. This means that you need to have good communication skills and be prepared to travel.


Requirements: The position as Global Sales Manager Recovery and Support Products requires technical knowledge of boilers, therefore you need to have a solid education in mechanical or process engineering equivalent to Bachelor’s degree. Experience from the P&P industry is also valuable. As a person, you are solution oriented, have good planning skills and a service mindset.

With your good communication and interpersonal skills you can build and keep up good relationships with both external and internal clients. Good command of both the English and Swedish or Finnish language is essential in this position.
