Project Engineer, Paper Technology Unit, Mill Improvements

Job description: We are looking for Project Engineer, Water turn up device, Reeling technology to drive Mill Improvements profitable growth by developing On-Site services business, implementing new solutions and processes with area operations and sales.
In this role your main responsibilities are global product sales of new products, technology updates in co-operation with engineering (incl. automation), pricing guidelines and models, new packages and solutions. Implementation of new tools and methods, reference build-up, attendance to Customer’s troubleshooting cases and On-Site projects as Supervisor/Site Manager are also important part of Project Engineer's tasks.

Responsibility areas:
• Sales planning with Areas including pricing guidelines
• Proactive technology and sales support for areas
• Participation to area sales events e.g. seminars & customer site events
• Customer trouble shooting in co-operation with areas
• Area operations skill development support Global customer follow-up and sales support

Requirements: To be successful in this position you need to have either M.Sc. or B.Sc. in mechanical or automation technology and several years of experience in paper and/or process industry. Experience of working in customer service and knowledge of mechanic, hydraulic and control systems contribute to the performance of this position. Fluent Finnish and English, both written and oral, are key requirements for this position. You have also excellent communication and negotiations skills which enables you to operate in global business environment. Willingness to travel globally is also essential.
