Valmet in Gothenburg engineers, produces and delivers service to Recovery and Power boilers and Evaporation plants for the Pulp and Paper industry as well as environmentally friendly Power and Heat boilers for technically demanding fuels.

To our office in Gothenburg we are looking for a Manager Sales P&P leading our sales team towards Pulp & Paper business in EMEA.

As Sales Manager, your work consists of leading our team of sales managers in establishing and developing our business through good relationships and will, together with our customers, realize and optimize their plants in operation, maintenance and safety.

The role is focused on Scandinavia where Valmet has a large customer base and the main task will be sales of upgrades and maintenance of Recovery boilers. You identify the needs of the customer and create interest and knowledge of our products together with the team. You establish targets, sales plans and lead the team in achieving results as well as develop the teams skills.

You should have the ability to work long-term and strategically, and to be a speaking partner for our customers in terms of new ideas, products and services. Negotiation and contract knowledge is an essential part of the job, as well as travelling.
Requirements: The position as Manager Sales P&P requires a technical knowledge of boilers, therefore you need to have a solid education in mechanical or process engineering or similar areas. Strong experience from successful Sales or Project management within the P&P industry is also a requirement for this position as well as well documented achievements in managerial achievements.
As a person you are passionate to deliver the best results. You are solution-oriented, have a strategic perspective and good planning skills. Furthermore, you have wide experience of negotiations.

With your good communication and interpersonal skills you are able to build and keep up good relationships with both external and internal clients. Good command of both Swedish and English language is essential in this position.
