The Field Service team seeks out for more support. Within the service business line, we are a team of highly committed professionals. Customers value us for our expertise and quality work. We serve partly planned shutdowns from several hours (often) to several weeks (seldom) mainly in northern part of central Europe. From time to time we serve also in emergency cases. We plan and prepare our jobs by ourselves. The work itself ranges from installation, to repair over maintenance, rebuild to adjustment and optimization as well as onsite coating and grinding. It’s guaranteed – it will never be boring. A minor part of our work is, to report what we’ve carried out.
To be successful in this role you will have an independent working style, you like dealing with customers face to face within their mill and you already have experience of mechanical fitting work or maintenance. Alternatively you gained experience in chipping (grinder, lathe or equivalent, preferably of huge parts >3m). We value specific education for mechanical fitter or equal competences.
You work well with other people and you are self-motivated. Also, in this job, you feel responsibility for your own work, you are able to operate confident and flexible under timely pressure during shutdowns. You care for relevant details and you spot deficiencies when they occur.
Czech language is the local language and if you in addition are able to interact in English (German would be a plus), are able to use general MS office tools and like to travel mainly during the week – we would be happy to get your application.
We look for above average contribution and offer only standard? That’s absolutely not the case:
We offer you a rewarding position within a global industry leading company with competitive compensation and benefit package including e.g. 5 additional vacation days, pension funding and daily allowance compensation that is above average. As a Valmet employee you’ll be eligible for wellness and lunch vouchers.
Company car, laptop and mobile phone will be available for you to do your daily work. You will have the ability to work in a skilled team that values your contribution and we are willing to support your desire for learning: This means a proper training to grow into the role, including language training or the like.
We will start the interviewing process already during the application period, so please fill out our electronic application form with your CV as soon as possible and latest by 30th of October, 2016.
