Product Sales Manager, Marine Scrubbers

Job description: In Valmet’s P&E Biotech and Environmental Systems department we develop, sell and deliver projects, which help our marine customers, ship owners, to control the exhaust gas emissions to air and the emission to sea water in efficient way and enable to meet the regulation and emission limits by IMO (International Maritime Organization) and MARPOL (Marine Pollution).

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Marine Scrubbers team. You will be responsible for the sales activities of our Marine Scrubber systems and products. This will include product and process design, design coordination, sea trials and as well support to delivery and sales projects.
Requirements: We expect you to have a Master of Science or Bachelor degree in Marine Engineering, Energy and Environmental Technology or other equal engineering. You have at least 5 years’ sales experience of international marine business. You are experienced in marine technology, standards and classification. You are developing our marine business together with our global sales teams. You are coordinating the sales work together with our product team. You travel and visit customers actively.

We appreciate a result oriented, customer focused team player with good interpersonal skills. You are willing to work closely with our customers and are able to provide technical recommendations and presentations to our key customers. You are able to plan and prioritize your own work and you have systematic way of working. As a person you are innovative and skilled in technical solutions and concepts. In this position you are requested to regular travelling. You also have fluent Finnish and English skills, both spoken and written (other languages are a benefit).
