Regional Sales Manager


Sales Manager is responsible for sales and marketing of SSAB products. You will work with complex sales to both existing and new customers with a strong focus on creating long-lasting customer relationships. You will be located in Austria and report to Head of Eastern Europe.

Main Responsibilities

• Independently set up sales presentations, contracts and proposals
• Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority
• To work according to and support SSAB´s short and long term strategically goals
• Secure yearly sales and marketing targets with existing and potential customers
• Be a part of sales and marketing within the strategic Corporate 3- year planning

You will work with complex sales to both existing and new customers with a strong focus on creating long-lasting customer relationships. You will provide sales, market and customer information to management and monitor competitor and market activities. Work also includes customer database updating, sales budget administration and some technical customer service and claim handling.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent, in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills both in German and English.
• At least 3 years working experience preferably in sales or marketing in a B2B environment

We expect you to have a genuine interest and an ability to build long-term customer relationships. You are good at seeing and creating customer value and want to be involved in developing clients' businesses. We expect you to be proactive, independent and well-organized but still a great team player with excellent learning and problem solving skills. You enjoy negotiating and communicating with people and have understanding of the local culture and traditions. You are capable of being on the road, mainly nationally but also internationally. A good understanding and acceptance of the mills overall objectives is required.
