Description of position: We are looking for a new talent in our Technical Services for R&D projects unit. Our team ensures that R&D has all its technical capabilities in place in order to develop new solution for our customers in the future. You as a team member take care of both our existing equipment, facilities and IT systems but also explore and develop new solutions for the future. Digitalisation has a great impact on how things are done in Orion so exploring, testing and developing completely new kind of emerging processes, solutions and ideas is something we do more day by day. In the morning you might use a hammer whereas in the afternoon an AI based algorithm is needed. Every day is different in this role. Our unit has a vast network of internal and external partners and stakeholders so efficient communication is a bread and butter of this work.
Description of unit: Orion’s pharmaceutical innovations are created within its R&D organization including for instance non-clinical research, clinical development, formulation development and medical affairs. Technical Services for R&D projects is part of Global Data Science and Analytics platform. Together with internal and external partners we make sure that our R&D is able to meet its objectives today but also in the future.

Requirements: As a successful candidate you have a suitable academic degree e.g. in the field of technology or life science. You have a competence and experience in digital technologies and AI. Yet nobody can do this alone so communication and interpersonal skills are must.
