|Description of unit:||Drug Safety department participates in follow-up and assessment of accumulating safety data for new molecules under clinical development as well as for marketed products. The department belongs to Orion R&D organization and works very closely with several cross-functional activities.|
|Description of position:||
As a Medical Adviser in Drug Safety you will be a member of cross-functional clinical study team and follow and assess the safety data during clinical development, creating an understanding of the safety profile of the new molecule under development. Your tasks include writing of different kinds of safety reports.
You will also perform benefit-risk evaluation for marketed products and assess individual adverse event reports and write periodic safety reports, risk management plans and other safety related documentation for regulatory submission purposes.
You have an opportunity to work together with Orion’s subsidiaries, partner companies and other co-operation parties, working language being mainly English.
This medical adviser position is full time and you will be based at Orion headquarter in Espoo or in Turku. You will report to the Head of Safety Evaluation for Proprietary Products, R&D.
