Position description: We are looking for the Quality Manager to Ahlstrom-Munksjö Tampere Plant.
The purpose of the position is to manage and improve the quality system and the claim process, in close cooperation with technical customer service and production teams in compliance with ISO TS and 9001 Quality Standards.
Main responsibilities - Implement and develop Quality System at Plant Level to meet ISO TS and ISO 9001 Standards to satisfy specific needs of our Customers such as Transportation (Automotive)
- Improve the Quality Control system as far as product and both product and process are concerned (Control Plan, Specifications and Boarder Samples, Test Methods, Process Improvement, Capability Study, Escalation Process, Working instructions and Training)
- Understand and evaluate customer needs as well as process capabilities in order to prevent defect causes and anticipate possible claims
- Manage claims from Customers and provide technical support through 8D reports and problem solving tools (such as 5W, Ishikawa analysis, etc.)
- Manage Quality issue coming from Raw materials with Suppliers (8D reports, Losses report…) and Global Sourcing Organization and Plant resources
- Training the personnel on quality and process procedures and improving the level of quality training for operators
- Taking care of risk analysis (Product and Process FMEA) and identifying new solutions in order to prevent possible defects for new products or standard products or during product-process modification
- Manage and Plan external (Customers, Suppliers, Third-party Certification) and internal audit program of Quality System
Qualifications: - Master's degree in technical subjects
- Minimum 3 year experience as Quality Specialist in process industry within automotive segment (ISO/TS 16949 Standard)
- Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Quality Management including statistical analysis (Cpk…)
- Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
- Very good organizational and leadership skills
- Fluency in spoken and written Finnish and English languages are must, working knowledge in German desirable
- Excellent knowledge of automotive norms and tools like MSA, APQP, PPAP, SPC and FMEA
