Position description: To ensure the full quality of our products by executing the Quality Assurance system and collaborating for improvement with the Quality Manager.
Main responsibilities To continuously improve product quality and reduce complaints

To make process, product, and procedural improvement to eliminate repeat complaints.

To improve and monitor the quality related targets and tasks

To manage the relations and audits from external auditors (quality certifiers and customers)

Main areas of responsibility:
To improve product quality through process engineering, product modification, and control systems.

To analyze customer complaints/claims and internal failures from analysis of root causes to identification of corrective action
plans and communication to customer

To analyze data and improve operations to reduce complaints, cost and waste, using statistical and other problem solving tools as

Maintain the Quality system in Bethune.

Manage 2 members of the Quality Team.

To interact with the plant labor force and promote product quality throughout the organization.

Perform and assist in any other related projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or other related discipline.

1-5 years of process engineering experience.

Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and 21 CFR 820 requirements.

Expert in the use of Quality and general software systems to include, but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Capable of interacting on all levels of the organization in various different cultures.

Excellent analytical, statistical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

High level of initiative and independence in managing responsibilities

Ability to travel as needed, <>10%
