Position description: Responsible for sales, market development and customer relations management in the EMEA market
Main responsibilities - Acts as coach and mentor for team members
- Management and supervisory responsibility for Sales Managers, including performance reviews, salary actions, disciplinary actions, and career development
- Ensures that company human resources policies are followed
- Manages Team expenses and controls costs
- Oversees preparation of Sales Budget with Sales Managers and negotiates agreement with Business Unit Leaders
- Responsible for ensuring achievement of Sales and Profit goals
- Ensure the alignment with BA and Company Strategy
- Runs monthly team sales meeting
- Accountable for team rolling forecast
- Manages receivables, past due amounts and finished good stock.
- Reports sales volume and sales activities on a monthly basis to business units
- Ensures that proper sales processes and procedures are followed, including terms and conditions, Customer Contact system, consignment programs, exclusivity arrangements, and warehouse programs
- Provides necessary support to Sales Managers during customer relations issues, as required
- Hunt with the Sales team for new business opportunities in a proactive way
- Works with business units to ensure Ahlstrom-Munksjö is properly represented at trade shows and industry organizations

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
- 8 years of sales experience with at least 2 years of management experience
- Creative thinking and technical capability to come up with new ideas
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to manage team and projects
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership
- Able to develop close networking relationships at all level of organization, in different languages and cultures
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of IT systems (Ahlstrom-Munksjö software applications, Microsoft office tools)
